As you “age out of the industry” (depending on what this sexist situation of our porn industry says), the question is… what is your angle? Do you stay holding on to various intellectual property? How do you re-purpose the content you have? Do you keep yourself relevant or wait?
Here’s the rub – no matter what the market says, are you planning for an out? Or do you have plans beyond that? Producer? Director? Your own studio? Honestly, do you just want to be a pet groomer in Boca Raton, Florida? Whatever it is, do not get into this business without having some kind of an exit plan. Because, at the end of the day, the exit plan is all you have.
Hold on to it, save for it, because you will achieve it if you hold on to that plan. From continuing education to a business of your own in our industry – save for that and exit with grace.
